This song was inspired by the recent passing away of my dear cousin’s wife Jhen Almeda. She passed on to be with the Lord just couple of months ago on August 24, 2019. She leaves behind two very young sons 9 and 7 years old, CJ and Jyle, with her devoted husband my dear cousin Charlo Almeda, and a host of family and friends and relatives who mourn her loss everyday. This song is in memory of her. Please kindly pray for the family.
Chorus
Remember me
Remember me
When I leave this world behind
If you care for me say a prayer for me
But don’t be sad when you remember me
Verse 1
I am going to a place where I’ll know no more pain
I am going to Someone who loves me well
He’s prepared a mansion for me to dwell
I am going to a place with no more fears
Chorus
Remember me
Remember me
When I leave this world behind
If you care for me say a prayer for me
But don’t be sad when you remember me
Verse 2
Do not cry for me when I leave this world
I will not remember it at all
I don’t want any sorrow or pain for me
For I want to be with the Lord
Chorus
Remember me
Remember me
When I leave this world behind
If you care for me say a prayer for me
But don’t be sad when you remember me
Verse 3
I have lived my life on the plan of God
He has set for me from above
Oh my heart looks forward to seeing Him
And to leaving this world behind
Chorus
Remember me
Remember me
When I leave this world behind
If you care for me say a prayer for me
But don’t be sad when you remember me
Bridge
It’s okay to be forgotten
It’s okay when life moves on
Live the life you have for Jesus
Move on without me here
Chorus
Remember me
Remember me
When I leave this world behind
If you care for me say a prayer for me
But don’t be sad when you remember me
Chorus
Remember me
Remember me
When I leave this world behind
If you care for me say a prayer for me
But don’t be sad when you remember me
Oh don’t be sad when you remember me
Please don’t be sad when you remember me
