I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. {Psalm 37:25}
When it’s all said and done, the only one that can keep us saved and fulfilled is Jesus Christ. There is no one else that loves us so much other than Him. He is our heavenly Father who came down to save us. Through Jesus Christ we will find remission for our sins. Through Jesus Christ we will find salvation for whatever troubles we face in this life. He gave His life at the cross at Calvary, bled and died, so that through Him we will find salvation and eternal life. Without Jesus Christ we will not have God, we will not have the heavenly Father. Jesus tells us,
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. {John 14:6}
Jesus said,
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. {Matthew 11:27}
He said to the Pharisees,
I and my Father are one. {John 10:30}
Apostle Paul also tells us concerning Jesus Christ,
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. {Colossians 2:9}
When we have Jesus Christ we have the Father. Jesus tells His disciples,
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. {John 14:7}
Phillip, one of Jesus’ disciples wondered about this. How can we see the Father? Show us the Father, Lord. Jesus tells Phillip,
Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. {John 14:8-10}
So you see if we have Jesus Christ living inside of us, we have the Father too. Jesus Christ is the manifestation of the Father. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. John tells us no one has seen the Father at all but through Jesus Christ. God has been manifested bodily to the world. When we have Jesus we have the Father also.
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. {John 1:18}
God’s love is faithful until the end. He has loved us since the beginning of time. Even before we were born He has loved us. God knew us. He knew who was going to be born and who was going to be alive today, even before we were aware of anything at all. God knows everything and encompasses all powers and dominions. God is faithful because the Bible tells us,
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. {Hebrews 13:8}
And Jesus tells us,
Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. {Matthew 28:20}
Whatever we’re going through, whatever heartache or pain or suffering and afflictions we are going through, there is nothing that Jesus Christ cannot help us with. He is our heavenly Father who knows the ending from the beginning, who can speak things into existence out of nothing, and who is the God of all creation. There is nothing too hard for Him. All we need to do is talk to Him. Yes, it’s that simple: talk to Him. Talk to Him and let Him know that we want Him very much to be a part of us, to save us and to help us everyday. If we do this, if we make talking and spending time with Jesus Christ our priority and our habit in life, our faith in Him will grow. We will come to see more of Him, and we will come to know more and more of the love of our heavenly Father, who wants to bestow so much love and grace on us. There is nothing that He will not help us with if we just talk to Him. Talk to Him and let Him know the things that we need and desire and want, because His love for us is great and His love for us is faithful and strong until the end.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. {John 14:1}
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. {John 14:27}
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. {John 15:4-5}
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. {Jeremiah 33:3}
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. {Isaiah 9:6}
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. {Jeremiah 29:13}
Prayer
Our Father in heaven who loves us so much, I praise and I bless Your holy and wonderful name, Jesus. I thank You Father that You have revealed Yourself to us through Your amazing Son Jesus Christ for the salvation of our souls. Without the shedding of Your precious blood we cannot be saved today. Thank You, Father for Your great sacrifice to give us Your precious Son at the cross.
Help us then Lord Jesus, to continue to turn our hearts to You and love You. Help us to have faith in talking to You, so You are ever so near and ever so close to us. Even so close as to know the very thoughts we think and the very thoughts we desire in our hearts. We are nothing without Your love Jesus. We are nothing without You. Please Savior, help us to love You. Help us to have faith in You and talk to You. Help us to have You more and more everyday, because that is all that really matters in the end. When this life is over the only thing that’s going to matter is our relationship with You. Help us then Father, to talk to You and never stop acknowledging You every moment of our lives. I thank You Father because nothing is too hard or too great for You. Nothing is impossible with You. You are great oh Lord.
I pray Father for Your sweet love and faith in our hearts today. I pray this, in Your sweet and lovely name, Jesus. Thank You, Father. Amen.
